2021 Merlot – California

The Merlot possesses a translucent ruby color indicating its lighter, less-extracted style.   On the nose, freshly baked blueberry pie and cedar. On the palate a burst of baked darker fruit floods the mouth with a backbone of cassis and anise.  The wine finishes dry with fine grained tannins and just enough acid for balance.
